BlockyOS Design is here!
With the new design update, I'm proud to present to you, the new and improved customization settings and the release of an app you've seen before.
Custom Backgrounds:
Finally! Custom backgrounds are here! Pick any image you desire to have as your background and in no time, it will apply to your desktop! If there are certain desktop images that aren't supported or corrupted, it will let you know by adding a temporary background letting you know what happened.
Accent Color:
For certain areas in BlockyOS, there will be an accent color applied. For example, on the start menu, you have the familiar green since day one. Now, you can change it to be any color you wish! Text will adjust to fit your color of choice for the best viewing. In partnership with the custom desktop backgrounds, you can finally make the system tailored to your liking.
Drag'n'Drop:
As the name implies, Drag'n'Drop is a new feature that allows for you to drag your '.pck' apps onto the desktop and it will automagically add them to your library!
SimpleText:
As you may have seen in promotional material or in explanatory videos, there's been a text editor in the background. I'll be proud to present that text editor called SimpleText! The new editor is super simple with no added on features making typing up a file just that! With the new Drag'n'Drop feature, you can just download the app, drag it onto your desktop, and there it will show up on your Desktop, ready to use!
